Paul mentions in Romans 12, not to be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. A conforming person fits in or fashions themselves after the world’s standards and thought processes. Transformation on the other hand is something that only God can do. It goes way beyond a religious experience venturing into the hands of a Master Potter where He counsels, heals, and liberates all who seek Him. And here’s the best part: He loves you so much, that He is willing to invest in YOU personally. His desire is to complete you! (Col 2:10) What a God we serve!
